300
I just watched the movie “300″ and it was very nice.
People say that it was bland and just full of men ripped to the extreme with a lot of scenes like “Gladiator” and a dose of “Sin City” with a dash of “Lord of the Rings” to boot.
To some point, they are right, but bashing “300″ as a copy of other movies is not. 300 is a good action movie and you wouldn’t have a lack of it. 300 is on a league of it’s own.
I loved the fighting scenes. They were gruesome and, to some extent, full of gore. Blood all over the place. Dead bodies being used to build walls. Chopping up body parts from people coming at you. Getting your head chopped off while your body stays standing. It feels like you’re watching “Mortal Kombat” the video game. (To those who don’t know “Mortal Kombat”, all I can say is “You missed half of your gaming life!”)
Besides the action, it was nice that the movie also had a lot of learnings. From sacrifice to friendship to love of a father and to being a friend. And with a lot of action to boot!! The 300 Spartans literally smiles at the thought of fighting to the death to someone who deserves to give it to them. They know no fear. They take no prisoners. They give no mercy.
The Spartans will give you nothing but they will take everything!
Ronarons says that it is a gay movie. I don’t think so. This movie kicks a**.
If you want to know how gory and bloody it was, take it from the reaction of my friend whom I watched it with. She was covering her eyes from time to time because the screen was being painted with blood. I think she thinks the movie is cool but this movie was made for the guys. We can learn a thing or two here.
Even in the face of death, the Spartans did not falter. They didn’t give an inch. 300 against a million soldiers. The Spartans thought they had a fighting chance. And they did. They almost won by killing the Persian leader Xerxes. Too bad they missed it by an inch, literally.
I recommend this movie to any guy who loves action movies. This is a good rest from all the “girly” action movies coming up as of late.

While going home, I saw a very cute sight. A baby boy saw a baby girl on the train and he was acting like he knew her. He was acting crazy trying to get the attention of the baby girl.
The baby girl saw what the guy was doing and she was making sounds too.
I just found it very cute.

“Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” was gay. This is not… Hahaha..
